OI VLC Player Component
The VLC Player component provides an implementation of the popular VLC media player . This component uses the libvlc.dll to launch and to control the VLC media player. The libvlc library and the required plug-in libraries are already included in this component package.

To start the VLC Player component the “StartPlayer” sink must be enabled. The component launches the VLC media player with the default GUI. The component is able to load a play list at the start by the setting of the “SetM3UFile” sink. To control the VLC media player the sinks “Play”, “Stop”, “Next” and “Previous” can be used by connecting them with a gesture device or a speech recogniser, e.g. In figure 2 an example of a possible pipeline configuration is shown using the VLC Player component.

The application is published under the terms of the GPLv3 licence and the last version of it can be download from the offical OI component repository.
